Dying Matters South Brent
A rich and interesting evening is planned in South Brent at the Old School Centre.
From 7pm there will be a Death Café, an informal opportunity to discuss death and dying while drinking tea and eating cake.
At 8.15pm there will be a showing of the highly acclaimed Guardian-funded film, Threshold, which features the local Threshold Choir, MoorHeart.
Threshold Choirs sing at the bedside of the dying, and the film is a sensitive exploration of this and other end-of-life choices.
There will be a Q&A with Florence Browne, who made the film, and Nickie Aven, who leads the choir. After that, the choir will sing their songs of solace.
The evening will end at 9.30pm.
